Hi, I'm Lori—the baker, decorator, designer, and heart behind IROL Cookies.

For as long as I can remember, I was the one bringing dessert to family gatherings, school parties, and celebrations. Baking has always been my happy place, and after discovering cookie decorating in 2008, I fell in love with combining creativity and baking into something truly special.

In 2019, my husband, son, and I moved from New Jersey to North Carolina for a new adventure. A year later, my son made the decision to move back to New Jersey to live with his dad. While I missed him tremendously, that unexpected season also gave me the opportunity—and the courage—to turn a longtime hobby into a business.

What began as a creative outlet quickly became a way to celebrate life's biggest moments with others. Today, every cookie is designed with the hope that it becomes a small part of someone's favorite memories, whether it's a first birthday, wedding, graduation, corporate event, or just because.
